Both the keyboard and mouse are powered by two AA batteries employing the latest wireless technology to ensure battery life is extended and battery changing is not a frequent occurrence. Six AA rechargable batteries are supplied so that one spare pair can be on constant charge in the small module that attaches to the radio receiver.

Set up in Windows XP is a breeze and both the keyboard and mouse support plug and play meaning the supplied driver disc is not required unless you want to install the extra software which for most people's needs is unecessary.
